Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to clean up your mess quickly then a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops I tested had excellent navigation and mapping. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, as well as wires that were tangled.
They're also user-friendly with an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It is equipped with the latest features. This high-end model is incredibly fast and nimble it can remove debris such as human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a mini map of your home and a few on-screen buttons for manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust, while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.
It comes with a range of other innovative features as well, including a different dock that connects to your home plumbing to clean and wash the mop without requiring you to manually refill it. You can also use voice commands with the S8's built-in voice assistant, saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free with mopping capabilities. It's one of the combination robot vacuums that have mopping capabilities that are available at a lower cost than the competition.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This includes setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done the robot can begin cleaning and mopping easily.
It is important to note that the mapping process takes some time and may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection feature is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a rug with tassels, and had to flip over to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for a cleaning companion that does everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbing. This results in floors being cleaned, not just swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach spots even robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and other intelligent features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app allows you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins and then place the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system clean and also stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the top-quality robot vacuums and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also features a unique mopping system, which uses a roller continuously dosed with water to pick dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology was effective and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing and staying clear of stairs. It was unable to handle fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating sound level is also high, so this model may not be as easy to set and forget as other models.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you replenish its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes upkeep easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on regular schedules. Eufy's app lets you manage all the functions. It provides an easy overview and a variety of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers available, and it provides impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the application lets users fine-tune the map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upward when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.
The docking station functions as a hands-free maintenance centre that automatically washes and dries the mops and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station has an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, allowing seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8, this robot does a bang-up job of keeping my home office clean and can also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and camera to create a 3D model of your home so that it knows what to stay clear of. It has an object/obstacle detector that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop) unlike other vacuums.
Other amazing features include a self emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to save time, it can avoid mopping rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities this is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can perform regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups for wet messes. It has a range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, as well as customizable settings via the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to move around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's unable to pick up tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've tried.
With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and useful automation into a sleek design. It didn't do as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests like the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did very well overall. It has a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the incredibly powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in tiny areas. It's very quiet and fast, and it is a great choice for getting around tight spots. It also does a good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.
This Web page than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be programmed to take pictures of every object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as 'not located', so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and are not tied to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but not as good in mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mophead.
